When the Redding Planning Commission meets Tuesday they’ll be asked to approve a commercial development next to the V.A. Clinic. The 80,500 square foot mixed use commercial complex would include a restaurant, medical office space and a fitness center. The site is 6-and-a-half acres located on the north side of Hartnell west of Bechelli. The site had been approved for a housing development but that project never got going and a zoning change is being requested.
