Haven Humane Society has been recognized for their work in saving the lives of pets. The Best Friends “Animal Society Lifesaving Luminary Award” for the Pacific Region was recently presented to Haven for their efforts in offering creative adoption promotions, such as the Pawsport to adoption, low-cost spay and neuter programs, and plans for a dedicated nursery for orphaned and un-weaned kittens. Haven was one of 8 groups awarded out of 2000 possible nationwide. Haven was also applauded in the strides they’ve made toward becoming a no-kill shelter by 2021.
