A federal indictment has been filed against two men accusing them of growing a lot of marijuana in the Lassen National Forest in Tehama County. On August First a raid was done in the Cub Creek area by Forest Service Agents, Tehama County Sheriff’s Deputies and State Fish and Wildlife Officers. They found 2,640 marijuana plants growing. 41-year-old Gabriel Sanchez-Madris and 26-year-old Mark Espinoza were arrested. They’ve been charged with manufacturing marijuana and conspiracy. If convicted they face federal prison sentences that range from a minimum of 10 years to a maximum of life.
