A former Assistant Manager at the Red Bluff Wal-Mart has been sentenced for ripping off the store. Ronald Leaf Jr. was convicted of felony embezzlement. He would have an accomplice go to his cash register and Leaf would scan a few items but would pass some big ticket items through without the scanner picking them up. He and the cohort pulled the scheme at least six times, for a theft of more than $2000 worth of goods. He’s been given 100 days in jail.
