Someone was killed on Interstate Five Tuesday morning south of Red Bluff. At 3:45AM there was a collision on the northbound side of the freeway between Flores avenue and Gyle Road. The CHP reports that a gray sedan collided with a big rig. The car landed on its side with the driver trapped inside, and apparently deceased. No other details are available yet. Northbound traffic was being detoured onto Highway 99W, but it re-opened at around 6:15AM.
