April Unemployment Rate Lowest Ever Recorded In Shasta County

The unemployment rate in Shasta County has hit yet another record low. The 4.9% rate for April is the lowest April rate ever reported by the Employment Development Department, down sharply from the 6.2% reported in April of last year.
