The Redding Rancheria Community Fund has announced $97,500 in grants to non-profit groups in Shasta and Trinity Counties. Thirty-eight organizations will benefit from the grants for the spring cycle. Among the recipients are 5,000 Dollars to Mercy Foundation towards a new Meals-on-Wheels truck, $2,500 to People of Progress to buy food for the food pantry and $2,500 to the Shasta High Robotics Team for computer upgrades. Other recipients include the Happy Valley and Hat Creek Fire Departments, Anderson Little League and Anderson Police Department. The Rancheria Fund is part of the Shasta Regional Community Fund.
