The DMV is making an effort to be more convenient with stand-alone kiosk locations at 364 locations around the state, including 249 at retail locations. The northernmost of those will be at the Redding FoodMaxx. DMV customers can skip standing in line at the DMV office and use the kiosk to pay for vehicle registration renewal and receive their new registration card and sticker on site. There are several other functions that can be done at the kiosk as well. DMW Director Steve Gordon will be there Tuesday at 11AM for a ribbon cutting and demonstration at the FoodMaxx on Churn Creek Road.
