There have been 200 cases of COVID-19 reported in Shasta County. Sunday’s five new cases range from a teenage boy to a man in his 70’s, all of them with symptoms. 6 Shasta County residents have died of the virus. There are 36 active cases. 5 people are hospitalized and 2 of them are in the I.C.U. 175 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
Butte County has had a total of 338 cases. Tehama County is up to 107.Glenn County’s has had 164, and is on the list of counties with tightened restrictions. Lassen County has had 40 cases in the community, in addition to 241 in the prison population. Siskiyou County has had 41. There have been 165 in Humboldt County. Trinity County is still reporting 2 cases, and there are still none confirmed in Modoc County.
