Shasta County has added 5 more Coronavirus cases for a total of 220. They range in age from their 20’s to their 70’s and four of them have symptoms.6 Shasta County residents have died of the virus. There are 32 active cases. 3 people are hospitalized, one of them in the I.C.U. 129 people are quarantined due to possible exposure. Butte County reported 50 new cases on Thursday for a total of 487. Tehama County is up to 126. Glenn County’s has had 200, and reported their first death on Wednesday. Lassen County has had 42 cases in the community, in addition to 431 in the prison population. Siskiyou County has had 44. There have been 175 in Humboldt County. Trinity County is still reporting 2 cases, and there are still none confirmed in Modoc County.
17,457 tests have been reported negative in Shasta County. Those numbers don’t include people who have been tested for antibodies, as Vitalant has been doing with all blood donors.
