A series of major cannabis raids yielded huge results last week in Southern Trinity County. Monday and Tuesday sheriff’s deputies, along with state and federal officers, served search warrants around Kettenpom and Wool Mountain. They pulled out 136,262 growing plants and destroyed 4,593 pounds of processed bud. They also found 11 guns and $107,000 cash. There were a number of illegal water diversions, grading, and other environmental crimes. Growers were detained, interviewed, and released pending charges.
