Two men have entered guilty pleas for trying to scam federal disaster aid. 55-year-old Daniel Connelly of Forest Ranch and 54-year-old Patrick Prigmore of Redding both claimed residence at the same house in Paradise that was destroyed in the Camp Fire.Connelly had lived there, but was evicted by his mortgage holder prior to the fire. He got $2,663 in FEMA funds to help with his rent. Prigmore never lived at the house, but submitted counterfeit utility bills to try and prove his residency. He got $12,837 in FEMA funding as well as 9 months of free housing in a FEMA trailer. Both men face up to 30 years in federal prison and $250,000 fines.
