The Shasta County Planning Commission is scheduled Wednesday to consider a controversial housing development in the Palo Cedro area. The Tierra Robles Subdivision would be 166 homes on 715 acres accessed by Old Alturas Road and Boyle Road. There has been a lot of active opposition from neighbors with concerns including water, traffic and fire danger. Discussion by the Planning Commission have been delayed multiple times. Wednesday’s meeting is at 3 O’clock in the Supervisors Chambers on Court Street.
